As-salaam Alaykum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh! Praise be to Allah - we praise him, we seek aid from him, we seek guidance, and we seek from him refuge from the evils of ourselves, and our bad deeds. It is he whom Allah guides that is on true guidance; but he whom he leaves astray, for such wilts thou find no protector to lead him to the right way. And I profess that there is no god but Allah alone, he has no partners. I admit his lordship, compelling this truth for those who denied him and disbelieved in him. And I profess that our master Muhammad, May Allah's Peace & Grace be upon him. Islam is at the crossroads. The international community is struggling to understand the influence of Islam and the happenings in most Muslim nations.
The mass media paints Muslims as fundamentalists and terrorists. The stereotyped image of Islam and Muslims is causing disgust and distrust among the believers. The mission statement of Jamaa tu Ahli LLahi (JAMAHLIY) remains “To develop an enlightened Muslim society nurtured by a true understanding of Islam for the spiritual upliftment and welfare of mankind”. Our mission implies that we shall strive towards the development of an enlightened Muslim society. Our activities will be aimed not only at the spiritual development of Muslims but also their welfare. We shall focus on helping the Muslim ummah to develop a true understanding of Islam according to the beliefs of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah.
We believe that the continual pursuit of the above objectives will facilitate prevalence of peace, justice and social improvement for Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. Was- salaam Alaykum.
